Our first Show & Shine Comp, powered by Bowater Motor Group, at the NZ Fishing, Hunting & 4x4 Expo in Nelson, 16 to 18 October 2026, is fully booked. An awesome response for our first year!

Despite the name, this is about much more than shine. These are vehicles people actually use for overlanding, fishing, hunting, or a combination of all 3.

Expect practical modifications, clever storage and thoughtfully designed setups built to get out there and get used. It’s about the functionality, workmanship and thinking behind each build, with every rig telling its own story.

There are 2 awards up for grabs:

• Show & Shine: Recognising practicality, ingenuity, quality workmanship and clever setups.

• People’s Choice: You decide! Vote for your favourite rig at the expo and help its owner take home $500 cash.
